America has new “drug pushers.” The new era of drugs in America is worse than the Cocaine addicts in the 1990′s!
The U.S has become a nation of people addicted to prescription drugs. The pharmaceutical companies are nothing but a bunch of drug dealers.
Check out some online articles regarding the following natural remedies:
- ADD: Super B complex vitamins, Niacin (non-flushing), Salmon oil & exercise
- Depression: Salmon oil, Niacin, B Complex, Vitamin D3, St. John’s Wart, and exercise
- Anxiety: Exercise & Melatonin for sleep, less or no caffeine
In the 1950′s high doses of Niacin (non-flushing) were prescribed for Schizophrenia. It actually worked in the 1950′s!
Don’t believe me? Here is the Wiki Link:

Niacin, in high doses has been used to treat many mental disorders.
The next time you are prescribed a new medication, weigh the side affects against the usefulness.
Research has shown that some medications can shorten your life.

I am certainly not telling anyone to stop taking any medications. Please make sure you are not allergic to any vitamins or supplements.
American culture has become the prescription drug capital of the world! The drug companies push drugs like crack dealers!

/ May 15, 2012The Doctor’s prescribe the drugs, people get “hooked.” Then, people cannot stop taking the drugs. The Pharmaceutical companies are making some serious money from the “legal drug trade.” Now, don’t get me wrong, there are people that seriously need prescription drugs for pain and mental disorders etc. I was just trying to point out that there are some really bad prescription drugs that can shorten a person’s life span.
The thing is that the people who abuse prescription drugs ruin it for the people who ACTUALLY need the prescriptions for severe pain or severe mental disorders, or whatever other illness. Now, people with severe pain have a hard time getting pain meds due to people who abuse the prescriptions, thats a load of bull. If someone is in severe pain, they should be able to get pain medication without having to be interrogated like a spy! True?

/ May 15, 2012I thoroughly enjoyed this post. Americans really are too quick to start popping pills before checking out other alternatives. I found it hilarious when a few (American) friends and I started rattling off names of this drug or that–my husband (British) was with us and just looked at us in horror. It turns out that, between the three of us, we could think up at least 30 different names of medication used in America because they’re so widely advertised on TV and radio. Disturbing isn’t?

/ May 15, 2012Thank you, yes our culture is just bombarded with drug ads. No wonder everyone thinks they are depressed. I think every doctor in America tries to prescribe antidepressants for everyone. Our culture may soon be just a bunch of people with zero emotions or feelings! Tell your husband most people could name 30-50.
Glad you guys liked the post.

/ May 17, 2012I think your pill culture is a little bizarre (British understatement here), but conversely, your insurance-based health care means a lot of you seem generally better-informed about drugs, their purpose, side effects – and cost.
However, that knowledge comes at a cost.

/ May 17, 2012Healthcare is very expensive in America now. We pay about 320 per month for a family plan. How is the healthcare there?
Thanks for commenting.
