My neighbors are on vacation and their house is burning down. My heart and prayers go out to them. God bless our firefighters and police officers!

/ June 2, 2012That is very sad they will need all the help from you and others when they get back.
I hope they don’t read your blog.
Those four firemen have not moved from the garage the whole time you were taking the photos.

/ June 2, 2012Yes, all the neighbors will be here for them. Bless the fireman!

/ June 2, 2012Actually the news has already reported it, prior to my posting it on this blog. The news reported it live.
It was an electrical fire that started in the attic. The fireman had a very hard time putting out the fire.
The smoke was more than I ever could have imagined!!

/ June 2, 2012Your out and about like a news reporter
i’m sure they will want to see the photos.

/ June 2, 2012The news asked me to send all of my photos and video to them for the late night broadcast.
I hope my neighbors are notified prior to seeing their house burning on the news!

/ June 3, 2012We are blessed to have a wonderful police and fireman force in this little town!
Never realized how much they put their own lives at risk until today. I could feel the heat from the fire as I was taking the photos.
Realized smoke is the worst thing about any fire.
Praise God no one was home! The smoke would have been too much.

/ June 3, 2012This is so sad, and it reminded me of this very thing happening to my cousin & his wife a few years ago while they were on vacation. They ended up spending close to a year in an apartment while their house was repaired / rebuilt. I hope your neighbors are able to get the help they need easily.
lizfruitberry
/ June 3, 2012I am sure they have insurance that hopefully will pay for an apartment. I know there are some things that cannot be replaced. It is heartbreaking.

/ June 4, 2012It was on the news that the fire was arson, and the police caught the person that started the fire. That is crazy!

/ June 4, 2012You have some wonderful photos or sad photos.
lizfruitberry
/ June 4, 2012Yea sad part is insurance is not paying a dime because it was one of the homeowners that set the fire. He was angry about the divorce, the news stated in the latest broadcast.

/ June 4, 2012My heart goes out to them, i hope he gets a long time in jail.but if your justice is the same as ours he might get two years.
lizfruitberry
/ June 4, 2012The news stated it was about $170,000 in damages that will not be covered by insurance.
The Creative Outpost
/ June 5, 2012That is horrible. My thoughts and prayers go out to them!

/ June 8, 2012Jealousy can make people do crazy things I guess. Heard he was very jealous and unhappy about the divorce. Thank you for commenting, I will check out your blog.
Brad
/ June 11, 2012WOW. Did you call over your girl friends and hit on all the firemen?
lizfruitberry
/ June 11, 2012All of the women in the neighborhood were watching. I thought they were watching the fire, but maybe they were checking out the fireman!
