Can someone explain to me why every single time I eat out at a restaurant the food is so horrible that my dog would not eat it?
I do not understand why we Americans put up with a lack of nice restaurants and poorly prepared food.
I would like for the food to taste better than a McDonald’s chicken nugget when eating at a “nice” restaurant.
There are zero healthy places to eat in this area. I would need to drive over a few states to get a great meal.
Why can’t I find a healthy, nice, elegant restaurant in this state?
Great Food
Good service
Food that doesn’t just literally turn into ass fat would be great!
Is this asking for too much in America?

/ July 16, 2012its not that different here – england – i gave up going out for a meal long time ago, vastly over priced for something that either came out of a packet, was frozen or i could have made better at home, sigh, its not good, and i have even thought of opening a restaurant of my own just to show how good it could be oh well i hope you have a super day

/ July 16, 2012Thought Americans only had the horrible restaurant problem. I agree, not spending a single dime for food that taste like it is a frozen dinner!
I would love to open a home cooked fresh buffet/cafe. Awwww dreams…..Love little cafe’s. We really do not have any in this state. There is another rant! I would love a great little deli too, that would be nice.
Deli/buffet/cafe/bookstore/coffee shop all in one.
That would be awesome!
I love your site! You have a great day too!

/ July 17, 2012I think that applies all over the place. One reason why I rarely eat out apart from necessity really. Food out is so mediocre. It may be dire for meat eaters but for vegetarians it is endless vegetarian lasagna slop (my pet hate).
And yet, I read brilliant reviews of meals in America that are not just vegetarian, but vegan. I wish.

/ July 17, 2012I love veggie lasagna! Well, American dining used to be fabulous prior to the economy taking a hit. American grocery prices have gone up very high too. My dog hates veggie lasagna too!
Yes, I think it is safer and healthier to just eat a home cooked meal.
All American vegans that I know normally do not dine out. Not many restaurants that I know of have very many vegan choices.
Good to know that America isn’t the only country with the horrible slop food being served at so called “nice” restaurants.
Tell your doggie I said, “hi.” If you ever come to America, message me and we can go out and try a vegan restaurant.

/ July 18, 2012I like my lasagna, but the stuff you get out? Vile. Have you not seen a couple of the vegan blogs that always seem to find endless vegan restaurants, or ones with vegan choices? I’ll try and remember to send you the links if you haven’t.
I don’t think I will be coming to america in a hurry, but thanks for the invitation
