Text & E-mail “Spoofing”
Text & E-mail “spoofing” is the new “in” thing evil people are doing these days. I had no clue. Perhaps I am a little behind. Basically, there are a ton of sites where others can send texts or e-mails that look like they were sent from you!
These services are free!

So, basically if someone really wanted to hurt you, they could send a text or e-mail from you to your boss, wife etc.
However, there is help. If someone “spoofs” a text or e-mail, they can be prosecuted for fraud. The “spoofing” sites do keep a record of all IP addresses.
