Absolute madness are the only words to explain the events that occurred in the following story (as true as I can recall). I had been working at this particular facility for some time. I loved my job and became almost like family with the people I worked with and the residents at the facility.

Useless Fact #29
How do you get a person to do something you want?
Act like you want that person to do the opposite. Why? A persons first reaction is to say “no” to everything.
So, if you really want a person to do something your way, act like you want them to do the exact opposite. Then, they will actually do the opposite of what you say. Confusing, isn’t it? Here is a true story example.
For example: If you really want a job, do not act as if you really want the job. An employer can smell desperation a mile away.
I had an employer who actually hired me and paid me more, because I told him I would “think about it.” The employer then called me weeks later, and offered me a much higher salary. I asked my boss why he had hired me at such a higher salary, he said, “I always want, what I cannot have.”
Strange, but true.
